Daycare Center
ABOUT US

Kingston Welcare operates from WelCare House in central Kingston upon Thames. Our facilities include a purpose built playroom, child-friendly garden, a fully equipped kitchen, and meeting rooms. We employ experienced staff qualified in childcare and parenting support, offering guidance, advice and signposting to other local services. We run projects that support parents with the challenges of parenting, including supporting parents who are experiencing mental health and emotional wellbeing issues.

WelCare House also operates as a community building, offering use of its facilities to other agencies or parents wishing to set up family groups or activities compatible with our key aims. Our spaces are available to hire for other voluntary and community organisations during the day, evenings and weekends.

Our Vision

Our vision is of a world where parents have the confidence and skills to build strong relationships with their children, where they and their families have the capacity and resilience to bounce back from life’s hard knocks and lead happy fulfilling lives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where local families can meet and connect with other parents to share stories and advice. By listening to parents, we seek to work with them and other local organisations to offer professional help, as well as providing a range of creative services that benefit children by increasing the confidence, well-being and resilience of their parents.

Our Values

Compassion and respect:

  • Connecting and empathising with parents and families

  • Respecting parents and children and treating them with dignity

  • Supporting parents’ choices and decisions

  • Respecting and celebrating cultural and religious diversity

Fellowship and cooperation:
